Annual Convention

KLTA 108th Annual Convention and Continuing Education

The Kansas Land Title Association has held a convention every year
since 1907. Locations have varied within Kansas. Attendance started with a few
dozen and has grown to hundreds. The KLTA event prides itself on being a
long-standing gathering place for members of the title community.

The
KLTA Convention Committee plans to advance the knowledge and skills of members by
providing excellent continuing education, a platform for dissemination of industry
news, a forum for associated organizations, and an opportunity for interaction
and tons of fun!

Also be aware that the ALTA is holding the 2015 Agents and Abstracters Forum Meeting Wednesday as well at the Oread.

As we approach the October 1 implementation deadline, many companies are contemplating how to implement Best Practices. This session will discuss how small companies can overcome challenges they face ranging from software systems to evolving lender requirements, and will provide detailed instruction on how to write policies and procedures that comply with Best Practices.?
